Objective To explore the effect of foot bath nursing with Chinese medicine on sleep disorders of critical patients. Methods From July 2016 to October 2019,90 patients with serious sleep disorders in our hospital were randomly divided into 45 control groups(warm water foot bath Nursing)and 45 study groups(traditional Chinese medicine foot bath Nursing). The differences of practical application effects of different methods were compared. Results There was no significant difference between the two groups in sleep duration, sleep wake-up time, sleep latency and sleep efficiency before intervention(P>0.05).Compared with the control group, the study group had higher sleep duration and sleep effect after intervention, and shorter sleep wake-up time and sleep latency, with significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of sleep disorders of critical patients, foot bath nursing with Chinese medicine can play a significant intervention effect, increase sleep time, shorten sleep time and interval wake-up time, and ensure the improvement of sleep efficiency.
