Architecture of African swine fever virus and implications for viral assembly

With the support of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Chinese Academy of Sciences,the joint research team led by Prof. Wang Xiang Xi (王祥喜) and Prof. Rao Zi He (饶子和) at the Institute of Biophysics,Chinese Academy of Science and Prof. Bu Zhi Gao (歩志高) at the Harbin Veterinary Research Institute,Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences,determined the African swine fever virus structure at near atomic resolution and unveiled the mechanism for viral assembly,which was published in Science(2019,366:6465).
