摘要 With the support by the National Natural Science Foundation of China,the research team led by Prof.Ye HaiFeng(叶海峰)at the Biomedical Synthetic Biology Research Center,Shanghai Key Laboratory of Regulatory Biology,Institute of Biomedical Sciences and School of Life Sciences,East China Normal University,developed the first green tea-triggered genetic control system for future gene-and cell-based precision medicine applications,and then used it to treat diabetes in mice and monkeys,which was published as a cover story in Science Translational Medicine(2019,11:515).
