电感电容结构压控振荡器的设计与实现 被引量:2

摘要 基于联华电子公司40 nm标准CMOS工艺全定制设计两个具有相同形状、宽度和间距,但长度不相等的U型电感.所设计的两个电感在VCO中构成两个LC谐振器.除了在谐振器中采用不同的电感外,两个VCO具有相同的元件尺寸、偏压电流、电源和布局方式.仿真与测试结果表明,实现的LC-VCO电路具有良好的功耗和相位噪声特性.通过对两个VCO电路振荡频率的比较,可获得全定制电感的实测值与仿真值之间相差大约10%.该结果可为相同工艺设计电感和振荡器提供指导. Two U-shape inductors with the same width and spacing,but different in length are fully-customized based on UMC40 nm CMOS process.The two U-shape inductors are used to construct two LC resonators in the VCOs presented in this paper.Except adopting different inductor in the resonating tank,the two VCOs have the same component size,bias current,power supply and layout pattern.The simulation and measurement results show that the implemented LC-VCO circuit has low power consumption and phase noise performance.By comparing the oscillation frequencies of two VCO circuits,the difference between the measured and simulated inductance of the full custom U-shape inductors can be found,which is about 10%.This result can provide useful guidance for designing inductors and oscillators using the same process in the future.
