Practical Thinking of Youth Cultivation in the 70 Years since the Founding of New China

新中国成立70年来,中国共产党对青年培养的内涵伴随着不同的时代主题而螺旋上升,围绕着"培养怎样的青年、怎样培养青年、为谁培养青年",形成了坚持"党管青年"的原则贯穿始终、坚持与民族复兴同行同向的培养方向、坚持马克思主义世界观方法论的基本经验。新时代,要把青年从生力军培养成最强主力军,必须坚持马克思主义青年观的创新发展、坚持青年培养与时代同行、坚持青年健康成长的科学道路,促使时代新人勇做走在时代前列的奋进者、开拓者和奉献者。

Since the founding of New China 70 years ago, the connotation of the Communist Party of China’s youth cultivation has spiraled upwards with different themes of the different times. Focusing on the issues of "what kind of youth to cultivate, how to cultivate youth, and who can benefit from cultivating youth," basic experience has been gained such as following the principle of "the Party governing youth" throughout the process, sticking to the orientation of working towards the goal of national rejuvenation, and adhering to the Marxist worldview and methodology. In the new era, if we want to cultivate the young people into a strong workforce, we must take the scientific path of developing the Marxist youth concept creatively, letting youth cultivation march together with the times, and adhering to the healthy growth of young people, so as to urge the new generation to become the pioneers, trail-blazers and devotees standing in the forefront of the times.
