“Branches”and the Development of the North China Family Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties

关注家族发展,血缘问题和世系问题是绕不开的两个基本问题。以往人们关注血缘认同较多,而近些年来,从系谱门派的角度来解析家族发展的论文越来越多。华北家族家谱多从“一本观”着眼,阐释和建构家族支派发展。这些家族分支处理与其他分支的关系、承担相应的责任与义务,以此建立起各自的话语权与影响力,试图在整个家族和地方社会中发挥更大的作用。华北作为畿辅之地、“首善之区”,其家族发展更多地表现为认知上的统领。

Blood relationship and lineage are two basic aspects in family development.In the past,people paid more attention to blood identity.In recent years,there are more and more papers analyzing family development from the perspective of genealogy.The genealogy of the family in North China mainly focuses on“one view”,explaining and constructing the development of the family branch.These family branches deal with the relationship with other branches and undertake corresponding responsibilities and obligations,so as to establish their own discourse power and influence,and try to play a greater role in the whole family and local society.North China,as an area of the provincial capital,its family development is more recognized in cognitive leadership.
