The Great Achievements of Modernization in Tibet and Its Experience Enlightenment

西藏的现代化建设是我国现代化进程中的重要组成部分,由于历史原因复杂,自然条件制约,西藏的现代化起步较晚。以和平解放为起点,通过民主改革,进行社会主义建设,实行改革开放,在党中央的亲切关怀下,在全国人民的无私援助下,西藏的现代化事业在短短几十年间实现了快速发展,西藏经济社会面貌发生历史性变化。

Tibet’s modernization is an important part of China’s modernization process.Due to the complex historical reasons and the constraints of natural conditions,Tibet s modernization started late.Starting from peaceful liberation of Tibet,through democratic reform,we carried out socialist construction,reform and opening-up,with the cordial care of the Party Central Committee and the selfless assistance of the whole nation,Tibet’s modernization drive has achieved rapid development in just a few decades,and Tibet’s economic and social landscape has undergone historic changes.On the occasion of the 70 th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 60 th anniversary of Tibet’s democratic reform,the presentation of the achievements of Tibet’s modernization drive and the summary of the successful experience of Tibet’s modernization drive will contribute to the implementation of the Party’s strategy for Tibet in the new era,the close unity of the people of all ethnic groups in Tibet,and the strong joint efforts to build a new socialist Tibet in an all-round way.
