The Influence of Silk Road on Furniture Culture in Tang Dynasty

唐代家具处于中国传统家具发展中的过渡时期,这一时期的家具由低型向高型转变,具有过渡时期家具的独特风格。本文以"一带一路"倡议为背景,探讨古代丝绸之路对唐代家具文化的影响。文中将家具文化由表层至深层划分为三个层面,分别为:器物层面,技术层面以及精神文化层面分别进行探讨。最终得出唐代家具在中西文明交流过程中的重要作用,以及对现代家具设计的启示。唐代家具的研究为"一带一路"倡议提供新视角、新契机,寻找文化根源,建立民族自信心。

The Tang dynasty furniture was in the transition period of the development of traditional Chinese furniture.During the period,furniture shapes changed from low to high,with the unique style of transitional furniture.This paper,based on Belt and Road Initiative,discusses the influence of ancient silk road on furniture culture in Tang Dynasty.Furniture culture is divided into three levels from the surface to the deep:the instrumental level,the technical level and the spiritual culture level.Finally,this paper comes to the conclusion that the Tang Dynasty furniture plays an important role in the process of communication between Chinese and western civilization and its enlightenment to modern furniture design.The study of furniture in the Tang Dynasty provided a new perspective and opportunity for the strategy of Belt and Road Initiative,seeking for cultural roots and establishing national confidence.
