BIM technology is an important way of project design budget management. Project construction has the characteristics of complex construction content, long period and large capital investment. This article starts with the importance of applying BIM technology in the process of engineering design budget management. It focuses on the existing problems and discusses its application performance. It is hoped that China’s engineering design budget management personnel can pay attention to the application of BIM technology, while improving the efficiency of project management, and creating conditions for improving the quality of construction in the future.
