Blockchain technology has developed rapidly in recent years,and its distributed data storage,consensus mechanism,encryption algorithm and zero-knowledge proof technologies have great development potential in the field of public security.Based on the connotation and characteristics of blockchain technology,this paper uses SWOT to analyze the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges of block chain technology in the field of public security,and combines its internal factors and external environment to improve the scientific nature of relevant suggestions and decision-making.
