南宁市5岁及以下儿童家长对手足口病相关知识的知晓情况及其影响因素

Awareness of hand-foot-mouth disease-related knowledge and its influencing factors among parents of children aged 5 years and below in Nanning City

目的了解南宁市5岁及以下儿童家长对手足口病相关知识的知晓情况及其影响因素。方法抽取南宁市842名5岁及以下儿童家长作为研究对象,采用自行设计的调查表收集相关信息。分析家长对手足口病防治知识的知晓情况及其影响因素。结果842名儿童家长对手足口病相关知识总体知晓率为73.04%(615/842),手足口病各条目知识知晓率为25.77%~100.00%。多因素Logistic回归分析结果显示,儿童年龄、家长与儿童的关系、家长文化程度、个人月收入、是否收到或看过手足口病宣传资料是影响家长手足口病防治知识知晓情况的因素(均P<0.05)。结论南宁市5岁及以下儿童家长对手足口病防治知识知晓率较低,应该根据儿童年龄、家长文化程度、家庭经济状况等开展针对性的手足口病健康宣传教育,以提高儿童家长对手足口病防治知识的认知水平。

Objective To investigate the awareness of hand-foot-mouth disease-related knowledge and its influencing factors among parents of children aged 5 years and below in Nanning City.Methods A total of 842 parents of children aged 5 years and below in Nanning City were selected as research subjects.The self-designed questionnaire was used to collect relevant information.The awareness of knowledge about hand-foot-mouth disease prevention and treatment and its influencing factors were analyzed among the parents.Results Among the 842 parents,the overall awareness rate of hand-foot-mouth disease-related knowledge was 73.04%(615/842),and the awareness rate of each item of knowledge about hand-foot-mouth disease ranged from 25.77%to 100.00%.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis results showed that children′s age,relationship between parents and children,parents′educational level,personal monthly income,and whether or not parents had received or read propaganda materials on hand-foot-mouth disease were the factors influencing the awareness of knowledge about hand-foot-mouth disease prevention and treatment among the parents(all P<0.05).Conclusions Parents of children aged 5 years and below in Nanning City have a lower awareness rate of knowledge about hand-foot-mouth disease prevention and treatment,and targeted health publicity and education on hand-foot-mouth disease should be carried out in accordance with children′s age,parents′educational level and family economic status,thus improving parents′awareness level of knowledge about hand-foot-mouth disease prevention and treatment.
