新中国成立以前,有探明储量的矿种仅18种;新中国成立以后,截至2018年底,发现矿种173种,探明储量159种。新中国70年的地矿工作,发现了大量的矿床,探明了丰富的资源,提交了可靠的储量,满足了经济社会发展需求。当然,与伟大中国梦的两个一百年目标相比,当前矿床发现的数量和质量仍有供需差距、仍有发展空间。可以说,新中国历史上的矿床发现,是绿水青山蕴藏金山银山的说明书,是经济民生恢复和国家工业化发展的准生证,是锦绣中华亦勃亦兴的晴雨表,更是当代中国生态文明建设主旋律中的重音符。所以,只有造就中国地质矿产事业的持续发展和强大勃兴,才能继续谱写新中国矿床发现的没有断代的未来史,才能为国家现代化提供源源不断的工业食粮和血液,才能为新时代中国特色社会主义建设提供真实无误的青春动力。

Before the founding of new China,there were only 18 kinds of minerals with proved reserves.By the end of 2018,173 kinds of minerals have been discovered;including 159 kinds of minerals have proved reserves.Among them,there are 8 energy minerals,54 metal minerals,90 non-metal minerals and 3 liquid&gas minerals.During the 70 years of geological development in New China,a large number of deposits have been discovered,abundant resources have been proved,and reliable reserves have been submitted.It supports the needs of economic and social development.Of course,compared with the two centenary goals of the great Chinese dream,there is still a gap in the quantity and quality of mineral deposits found,and a huge space for development.It can be said that the discovery of mineral deposits in the history of new China is the instruction thatlucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets,is the birth permit for the recovery of economic and people’s livelihood and the development of national industrialization,is the heavy note of contemporary Chinese ecological civilization construction,Therefore,the sustainable development and strong prosperity of China’s geological and mineral industry is the only way to provide a continuous supply of industrial materials for the modernization of the country.Only in this way can we provide power for the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
