摘要
以中国电信制造企业为样本,基于专利数据,探知了跨国技术探寻对后发企业创新绩效的影响。按照相对于母国的技术接近性,将后发企业技术探寻的东道国分为同质性与异质性两类,实证研究发现:在知识转移水平方面,同质东道国、异质东道国分别与后发企业创新绩效成正向和U型关系;关于地理多样性,异质东道国正向影响后发企业创新绩效,而同质东道国没有显著作用效果。此外,在海外技术知识与后发企业创新绩效之间,企业科学关联度并未起到显著的正向调节效应。从知识的转移水平与地理来源维度,深化了外国技术与后发企业创新绩效的关系研究,对后发企业国际化具有重要实践启示。
Using patent data, this paper explores the effects of cross-border technology seeking on latercomer firms’ innovative performance. Based on technology proximity between countries, we classify the host countries of technology seeking into homogeneous countries and heterogeneous countries. The results show that the influence of knowledge transfer from homogeneous and heterogeneous countries, respectively, on latecomer firms’ innovative performance is positive and U-shaped;geographic diversity into homogeneous countries is not significantly associated with innovative performance, while the impact of geographic diversity into heterogeneous countries is significantly positive. Moreover, this paper finds that science linkage of latercomer firms does not play a moderating role in the relationship between international technology transfer and innovative performance. From the view of transfer level and geographic location, the study clarifies the relationship between foreign knowledge and latecomer firms’ innovative performance, and has meaningful implications for their globailzation.
