论诗歌翻译与中国新诗创作的三重关系

On the Three Kinds of Relationship Between Poetry Translation and the Creation of Modern Chinese Poetry

学界惯于谈论外国诗歌对中国新诗的影响,却忽视了翻译这个中介环节,只能从影响的层面看到翻译诗歌与中国新诗的一层关系。而从译介学的角度出发,外国诗歌的翻译与中国新诗创作之间呈现出复杂的关系:首先是诗歌翻译在诸多方面等同于中国新诗创作,其次是诗歌翻译对中国新诗创作具有积极的促动作用,三是诗歌翻译与中国现代新诗之间相互影响,促进了彼此的发展和完善。把握中国新诗创作与诗歌翻译之间的这三重关系,有助于更深刻和更全面地理解中外诗歌关系。

Some scholars are used to talking about the influence from foreign poetry on modern Chinese poetry,but ignore the intermediary link of translation.Only from the point of influence can we see the only relationship between the translated poetry and modern Chinese poetry.From the perspective of translatology,there may be very complex relationship between the translation of foreign poetry and the creation of modern Chinese poetry.First of all,poetry translation is equal to the creation of modern Chinese poetry in many aspects.Second,poetry translation has a positive role in promoting the creation of modern Chinese poetry.Third,poetry translation and modern Chinese poetry interact as both cause and effect,and they influence and promote each other.The recognition of the three kinds of relationship between the translation of poetry and the creation of modern Chinese poetry would contribute to a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the relationship between Chinese and foreign poetry.
