The Current Situation and Prospect of Oil Palm Industry in Indonesia

油棕(Elaeis guineensis Jacq.)是世界上产油效率最高的热带木本油料作物之一,享有“世界油王”之称。棕榈油是世界上消费量最大的油品,而印度尼西亚作为世界上最大的棕榈油生产国,油棕产业在该国的经济发展中占有至关重要的地位。本文综述了印度尼西亚油棕的种植、棕榈油生产及科学研究的现状,并对产业的发展前景进行了探讨,以期为我国“走出去”企业在印度尼西亚发展油棕种植业提供参考。

The palm oil(Elaeis guineensis Jacq.)is one of the most efficient tropical woody and known as the king of oil crops in the world.The palm oil is the most consumed oil product and Indonesia as the largest producer in the world,its oil palm industry plays a crucial role in the economic development of Indonesia.This paper summarized the current plantation,production and scientific research of palm oil in Indonesia,and the development prospects of oil palm industry in Indonesia was discussed in order to provide the reference for Chinese enterprises to go out and develop oil palm plantation in Indonesia.
