繁峙三圣寺佛传壁画考

A Study of the Buddhist Mural Paintings in Sansheng Temple

繁峙三圣寺现存清代佛传壁画,为山西忻州地区佛传壁画重要遗存。大雄宝殿东西墙壁绘佛传壁画84幅,并附题记。壁画初绘年代不详,经考证后确定其为乾隆首绘,嘉庆、同治补绘。题记中存在书写错误,予以更正。壁画重绘后,西壁壁画题记与内容多有不符,有待辨析。艺术风格上,呈"众星拱卫"式,设色淡雅,为典型的民间画。佛传壁画杂糅佛道,包含麻姑、灶君、龙王等民间信仰,具有重要的研究价值。

The existing Buddhist paintings of the Qing Dynasty in Sansheng Temple are important remains of Buddhist murals in Xinzhou area of Shanxi.The main wall of the Daxiong Treasure Hall has 84 pieces of Buddhist murals with attached inscriptions.The initial painting period was unknown.After the research,it was determined that it was firstly painted during Qianlong,and was added during Jiaqing and Tongzhi.There are writing errors in the inscription and corrections are made.After the murals were redrawn,the inscriptions on the murals of the West Wall are inconsistent with the content and need to be discerned.In terms of artistic style,it is in the style of"Stars and Guards",with elegant colors and typical folk paintings.The Buddhist murals are rich in Buddhist scriptures,including folk beliefs such as Ma Gu,Zao Jun and Long Wang,and have important research value.
