The rapid development of industrialization has caused pollution to the ecological environment of China to a certain extent.Firstly,this paper analyzes the current situation of flue gas desulfurization and denitration in thermal power plants,so as to make clear that the use of flue gas desulfurization and denitration technology in new thermal power plants is of great significance,and then analyzes the application of flue gas desulfurization and denitration technology in thermal power plants and the implementation of energy saving and environmental protection strategies according to the actual situation,hoping to play a reference role for the industry.
