This paper introduces the basic configuration of fiber differential protection channel applied in 500 kV GIS of Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant Ⅱ.It analyzes the fault and expounds the process of troubleshooting via a practical example of fiber channel fault.Meanwhile,the corresponding fault location method of fiber channel is summarized,which provides a reference for operation and maintenance personnel to find out channel faults.
