The iterative development of new media technology has greatly changed the information transmitting mode of human beings and triggered the overall transformation of the media ecology. New media research in 2019, under the guidance of technological logic, focuses on issues of times and urgency, such as Media Convergence, Social Media, Algorithmic Journalism, Blockchain News and 5G. The discussions were launched, and as a result, some obvious research hotspots and trends were presented.
