A Review of Monosodium Glutamate Industry in China in the Past 100 Years

摘要 味精最初是1866年德国人从植物蛋白质中提炼过,1908年由日本东京大学池田菊苗教授在海带中发现并提取的。我国的味精产业起始于1919年,是我国著名爱国实业家吴蕴初经3年多的钻研研制而成,自1992年以后,我国的味精年产量一直稳居世界前列。文章综述了创新驱动使我国味精行业从一个高能耗、高粮耗、高污染的行业迈向成熟的循环经济和清洁生产,实现了绿色生产味精的强国梦。 Monosodium glutamate was originally extracted from plant protein in Germany in 1866.It was found and extracted from kelp by Professor Kikuomi Ikeda of Tokyo University in 1908.China's monosodium glutamate industry began in 1919 after more than three years of research by Wu Yunchu,a famous patriotic industrialist in China.Since 1992,China's annual production of monosodium glutamate has been ranked first in the world.This paper summarizes the innovation-driven industry of monosodium glutamate in China from a high energy consumption,high grain consumption,high pollution industry to a mature circular economy and clean production,to achieve a strong dream for green production of monosodium glutamate.
