实践哲学视域下的中国科技典籍翻译研究

Study On the Translation of Chinese Science and Technology Classics from the Perspective of Practical Philosophy

中国科技典籍承载着中华民族自古以来在“技”与“思”方面的成就,是中国文化“走出去”的重要组成部分。首先通过计量分析呈现了中国科技典籍翻译研究的概况,继而结合科技典籍自身特质提出在宏观层面上以实践哲学关照科技典籍翻译研究,指导翻译实践活动以目的为导向制定符合语言规律的翻译策略,加深对译者主体介入作用的认识,并将实践哲学的“价值论”学说引入翻译评价,以“合规律性与合目的性的统一度”为评价原则,在翻译实践、翻译批评和翻译理论建设之间建立起良好的循环互利关系。

As a carrier of Chinese ancestors'thought and their great achievements in science and technology,Chinese science and technology classics are viewed an important part of Chinese culture aiming at going global.This paper firstly presents,through data analysis,the current research situation on the translation of Chinese science and technology classics;then,taking consideration of the characteristics of the source texts,this paper adopts the view of practical philosophy,underscoring the importance of translation purpose in formulating translation strategies,the translator's subjectivity in confronting the influential factors,and the introduction of value principles in translation evaluation,making the integration between conformity with regularity and purposefulness an assessment principle,thus building up a mutual-beneficial relationship among practice,evaluation and its theory construction.
