The Review of Prosodic Morphology

韵律形态学是韵律音系学的一个重要分支,旨在解释韵律与形态变化之间的关系与互动。从韵律音系学产生的理论背景和原理应用来看,它在解释具体音系过程的问题上,具有突出的理论优势。韵律形态学与优选论、对应理论等相结合,为汉语形态现象的一些具体问题提供新的理论视角和分析方法,对于普遍语言学、语言类型学和一般构词理论和韵律理论均有重要意义。

Prosodic Morphology is a significant branch of Prosodic Phonology,aiming to explain the relationship and interaction between prosodic and morphologic changes.From the view of theoretical background and principle application,Prosodic Phonology shows strong theoretical advantages on specific problems of morphological phenomena.Moreover,Prosodic Morphology has been combined with Optimality Theory and Correspondence Theory.More importantly,it provides a new perspective and method for morphological changes in Chinese dialects.Therefore,PM is of great importance for General Linguistics,Typology Linguistics,Prosodic Phonology and Morphology.
