习近平总书记在学校思想政治理论课教师座谈会上对思政课教师提出的“六要”新要求,为思政课教师队伍建设明确了重要标准,也为思政课教师提升素质和水平指明了努力方向。面对新时代新的形势和新的要求,思政课教师要履行好自己的光荣使命和专业职责,使自己真正成为一名合格的思政课教师,并认真践行习近平总书记提出的“六要”新要求。思政课教师践行习近平总书记提出的“六要”新要求,是一个长期的、常讲常新的动态过程,需要做出多方面的不懈努力,其基本路径是:增强政治意识,树立科学信仰,坚定理想信念,把准政治方向,坚持政治原则,严守政治纪律;注重养成和保持家国情怀、时代情怀、世界情怀、仁爱情怀和传道情怀;掌握科学的世界观和方法论,积极投身教学改革,自觉践行“八个相统一”的教学要求;加强学习,不懈实践,着力拓展自己的知识视野、国际视野、历史视野;注重慎微慎独,言行一致、知行合一,兢兢业业,乐于奉献;注重加强政治、道德、情感和教学修养,认认真真为师,堂堂正正做人。

General Secretary Xi Jinping put forward new requirements of“six essentials”for ideological and political teachers at the forum on the ideological and political theory,which clarified important standards for the construction of ideological and political teacher teams,and also made clear the direction for the upgrading of teachers’quality and teaching level.Facing the new situation and new requirements in the new era,teachers of ideological and political lessons must implement“six essentials”to fulfill their glorious missions and professional responsibilities and become truly qualified teachers.The implementation of the“six essentials”proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping is a long-term,oftenchanging and dynamic process that requires unremitting efforts in various aspects.The basic paths include strengthening political awareness,establishing scientific beliefs,maintaining firm ideals and convictions,steering the right political direction,adhering to political principles,and strictly observing political discipline;focusing on fostering and maintaining sentiments of homeland,times,world,benevolence,and missionary;mastering the scientific worldview and methodology,and actively engaging in teaching reform and consciously implementing the“eight unified”teaching requirements;strengthening learning and practice,striving to expand knowledge,international horizons,and historical horizons;emphasizing dedication;focusing on strengthening politics,morals,emotions and teaching accomplishments to be a serious teacher and be a good person.
