During the Anti-Japanese War, Guizhou native poets took expressing real life, expressing anti-Japanese passion, exposing the crimes of reactionaries and affirming the role of working people as the theme of Guizhou poetry. Their poetry forms experienced from lyricism to realism, and finally to rational criticism and exposition. Through the analysis of the works of Guizhou native poets, this paper comprehensively grasps the characteristics of Guizhou poetry during the Anti-Japanese War, and probes into the characteristics of Guizhou poetry development and its contribution in the literary history.
