Under the background of the continuous progress and development of Internet information technology in our country, optical fiber communication technology has also been widely used in our daily life. Based on self cognition,this paper analyzes the characteristics and application status of optical fiber communication technology, and prospects the future development direction of this technology, in order to provide reference ideas for improving the communication technology in China.
