Discussion on the Library Utilization Training for International Students in Local Colleges and Universities under the Background of the Belt and Road Initiative

“一带一路”背景下,地方高校留学生人数和规模日益扩大。留学生的多元化特征和多样化需求使地方高校图书馆面临着全新的国际化服务挑战。在概述留学生图书馆利用培训研究现状的基础上,分析地方高校开展留学生图书馆利用培训的必要性和所面临的障碍。从跨文化视角,有针对性地提出多方合作、多种形式结合、多种渠道并用,分类分层地开展延续性图书馆利用培训以及建立培训反馈和评估机制等建议。

Under the background of Belt and Road Initiative,the number and scale of international students are expanding day by day.The diversified characteristics and needs of international students make the local university libraries face the new challenges of internationalization services.On the basis of discussing the present situation of the library utilization training for international students,this paper analyzes on the necessity and obstacles of carrying out the library utilization training for international students in the local colleges and universities,and then puts forward some suggestions from the cross-cultural point of view,such as multi-party cooperation,combination of various forms and various channels,a continuous library utilization training developed by classification and stratification,and the establishment of training feedback and evaluation mechanism.
