教师最基本的责任应该是岗位责任,就是要忠诚人民的教育事业,各项工作都是尽职尽责,爱岗敬业、教书育人;严谨治学、精益求精;为人师表、知行统一,这是教师职业最本质的特征。教师的岗位在讲台。做一名合格的教师,就要时刻以教书育人为己任,以学生为中心,以全身心投入为常态,关心和爱护学生,平时心中装着学生,要有无私奉献的爱心。

Teachers’ basic responsibility should be post responsibility, that is, to be loyal to the education cause for the people. The most essential features of teachers’ profession include being committed to one’s profession, imparting knowledge and educating people;rigorous scholarship and constantly striving for perfection;being worth the name of teacher and uniting knowing and doing. To be a qualified teacher, one should always take educating students as his responsibility, take students as the center, devote himself wholeheartedly to the job, care for students, always keep students in mind and have selfless love.
