At the present stage,communication technology has been a certain development,which is mainly reflected in electronic communication technology,because the technology has good performance,outstanding advantages,so it has been used in various fields. Among them,optical communication technology is a technology that converts light waves into transmission media,which has the characteristics of strong anti-interference and large information capacity. Therefore,it has been well applied in the Internet of things with rich contents. Based on this,this paper will focus on the application of this technology in the development of the Internet of things for reference.
