英语报刊在高中英语阅读教学中的应用初探

英语报刊题材丰富、材料新颖、时效性高,既能满足学生认知新单词、新句式等常见的英语学习需求,还能使学生了解更多的西方文化背景知识以及社会知识。稍加合理利用,就能够成为不同于传统的英语阅读课训练材料。本文旨在探讨初步通过在教学中定期的运用英语报刊的部分内容对学生进行阅读训练,帮助学生有效的提高阅读能力的方法。

English newspapers are rich in themes and topics and have an advantage of high effectiveness.They can not only meet the students'needs to learn new words and sentences but also enlarge students’knowledge of western culture and its background.If full advantage can be taken of English newspapers,we will have new and proper materials to improve students’reading skills.This paper is to discuss effective ways to improve students’reading ability by regularly using of English newspapers in the training of comprehension.
