Xu Xiao-yun’s Experience in the Treatment of Chronic Simple Lichen with Method of Removing Wind and Relieving Depression

慢性单纯性苔癣患者或先有血郁、或先有痰郁、或先有湿郁、或先有火郁、或先有食郁等,继而引起其他郁滞,诸郁互为因果,循环而生,而不独一脏一腑。在整个疾病发生、发展的过程中,气、火、痰、血、湿、食之郁均发挥着不同程度的作用,环环相扣,在风邪的感召之下,协同作病。故徐老师认为,气、火、痰、血、湿、食郁于体内是慢性单纯性苔癣发病的基础,风邪介入是其发病条件。在治疗过程中,当同解气、火、痰、血、湿、食之郁,疏外风、熄内风,以除风解郁之法治疗。徐老师认为,解郁之方虽多,但均不如越鞠丸诸法兼备,临证多用越鞠丸辨证加减治疗,加用其他治风药物,以增强治风之力。同时注重寻找、去除诱发及加重因素,加强日常调护。

Patients with chronic simple lichen have blood stasis,or phlegm stagnation,or dampness stagnation,or fire stagnation,or food retention and so on,which then causes other depression.Any stagnation is caused by each other and circulates,not only involving one zang or fu organ.In the whole process of the occurrence and development of the disease,qi,fire stagnation,phlegm stagnation,blood stasis,dampness stagnation and food retention all play different roles.They are closely linked and work together under the influence of wind pathogen.Therefore,Professor Xu believes that stagnated qi,fire,phlegm,blood,dampness and food depression are the basis of the pathogenesis of chronic simple lichen,and the intervention of wind pathogen is the condition of the occurrence.In the course of treatment,the stagnated qi,fire,phlegm,blood,dampness and food should be eliminated,and the external wind and internal wind also should be dispersed.According to Professor Xu,although there are many prescriptions for relieving stagnation,they are not as good as Constraint-Resolving Pill in all aspects.In clinical practice,Constraint-Resolving Pill is often modified for syndrome differentiation plus other wind-removing drugs,so as to enhance the wind-removing power.At the same time,we should pay attention to finding and removing the inducing and aggravating factors,and strengthening the daily care for patients.
