戒毒专业是司法警官院校的警察类专业。目前,司法警官职业院校戒毒专业建设取得一定成效,但也存在不足,主要表现为:申报热情高,获批少;专业定位不清晰,核心课程设置相似;专业著作多,教材少,统编教材缺乏;专业办学层次较低,未能创设本科专业等。有必要根据院校办学条件和区域人才需求情况合理增设专业;根植行业需求,利用好便捷入警机制;明确专业定位,构建课程体系,加强教材建设;并注重申报本科,提升办学层次。
