克拉考尔在《电影的本性》中阐释了自己的电影美学思想,论述了电影与“生活流”的关系。“生活流”理论从深层显露出了审美活动的特质,体现出一种从有限到无限的意境,显示出与中国审美理论结合的可能性。克拉考尔的电影理论打造出一种心与物、电影与生活流交融的意象世界,激发了观众对于电影的审美活动。
In the work Theory of Film:the Redemption of Physical Reality,Krakauer explains his own film aesthetics and discusses the relationship between film and"Life stream".His theory reveals the characteristics of aesthetic activities from a deep level and reflects a world from finite to infinite,showing the possibility of combining with Chinese Aesthetic theory.Krakauer's theory creates an image world of mind and object,film and life,which stimulates the audience's aesthetic activities for films.
