The production situation and the reason of expansion and revamp in the 3 rd department aromatics extraction unit of CNOOC Huizhou Petrochemical Co.,Ltd were introduced,and the major renovation projects were listed. Through data collection and the combination of actual production situation,the production situation before and after expansion and revamp project of aromatics extraction unit was compared and analyzed. The actual production situation after the expansion and transformation showed that the feed load of the distillation column increased obviously,the temperature at the bottom of the column decreased obviously,the pressure at the top of the non-aromatic column was under controlled,the material consumption and energy consumption of the device reduced,and the economic benefits were obvious.
