中医临床研究的关键问题是如何在临床试验设计中应用中医辨证分型。作为一种患者分层方法,中医辨证分型可以改变临床试验策略,有助于设计更好的临床试验,帮助选择最适合干预的患者。综观中医学术发展史,辨病早于辨证。中医学对疾病本质的认识,最早是确定病种并赋予病名。由于中医学历史对疾病认识的过程病名记载不足,导致中医病名不及西医病名丰富、准确。挖掘中药对冠以现代名称疾病的干预作用,不能因没有采用辨证论治的形式而一棍子打死。

The key problem of TCM clinical research is how to apply TCM syndrome differentiation and typing in clinical trial de-sign.As a method of patient stratification,TCM syndrome differentiation and typing can change the clinical trial strategy,help to design better clinical trials,and help to select the most suitable patients for intervention.Looking at the history of academic devel-opment of Chinese medicine,disease differentiation is earlier than syndrome differentiation.The first understanding of the nature of disease in TCM is to identify the disease type and give the disease name.Due to the lack of records of disease names in the process of disease recognition in the history of Chinese medicine,the disease names of Chinese medicine are not as rich and accurate as those of western medicine.To explore the intervention of Chinese medicine on diseases with modern name,it should not be refused for not using the form of syndrome differentiation and treatment.
