Information civilization is the new form of civilization that human beings are entering. It has its own unique connotation and characteristics,and is attracting the attention of academic circles. The research on information civilization is rising based on a multidisciplinary perspectives,and the important dimensions in this field include the sociological study of information civilization,its definition,characteristics and significance,the study of the history of information civilization,especially the philosophical research of information civilization,which has an important position in this field in order to form rich ideological achievements to help our information civilization construction.
