Objective To investigate the effect of cognitive behavioral intervention on the self-knowledge and quality of life of first-episode schizophrenia patients. Methods 90 patients with first-episode schizophrenia admitted in our hospital from January to November 2018 were enrolled in the study.According to the random number table method, they were divided into two groups, with 45 cases in each group. The control group received routine symptomatic treatment. The observation group received cognitive behavioral intervention based on the above treatment. The self-knowledge,improvement of clinical symptoms, quality of life and recurrence rate between the two groups were compared. Results Compared with those of the control group, the scores of the self-knowledge and treatment attitude questionnaire(ITAQ)in the observation group were higher, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with those of the control group, the scores of the positive and negative symptom scales(PANSS),the each dimension score of the quality of life of the schizophrenia patients(SQLS)and recurrence rate of the observation group were lower, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of cognitive behavioral intervention can significantly restore the self-knowledge of first-episode schizophrenia patients, effectively alleviate clinical symptoms, improve quality of life, and reduce disease recurrence.
