As a writer who was born in 1970s,Yi Zhou always can reveal the inherent cruelty of daily life through his understanding on the experience of the world and details of the life.He often makes the characters in the dilemma:should they willing to submit to the current life or looking for the possibility of a new life?In this novel"Babel Does Not Leave Tiantongyuan"(《巴别尔没有离开天通苑》),the writer choosed the latter obviously.Here"escape"is endowed with meaning,which is not only the resistance of a brave man to nothingness in life,but also the self-redemption of a decadent man in life.Simple labor and vast natural world will eventually give people comfort and continue to live.
