In order to improve the fit between talent training and social needs, promote the adjustment of engineering specialty and the development of new specialty setting in higher vocational colleges, this paper introduces the practical background and specific performance of the adjustment of engineering specialty, expounds the response and effect of the adjustment of engineering specialty in higher vocational colleges with examples.
