A Textual Research on the Motivation of Geographical Nomenclature in Jianchuan

通过对大理剑川地名的收集,分析大理剑川地名的造词理据及相关文化内涵,从而揭示大理剑川地名的表达形式和词义之间的内在联系。从分析结果来看,大理剑川地名的造词理据主要分为宗教信仰理据、人文理据、自然环境理据和修辞理据。

Through collecting the place names of Jianchuan in Dali,this paper analyses the motivation of word-making and related cultural connotations of the place names of Jianchuan in Dali,so as to reveal the internal relationship between the expression form and the meaning of the place names of Jianchuan in Dali.From the analysis results,the motivation of the word-making of Jianchuan place names in Dali is mainly divided into religious belief motivation,humanistic motivation,natural environment motivation and rhetoric motivation.
