《聊斋志异·汤公》之宗教关系简析

A Brief Analysis of the Religious Relationship in"Mr.Tang"of Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio

《聊斋志异·汤公》通过描写儒、释、道三教神灵共同救助汤公,寄予了蒲松龄对多神庇护书生的期待,同时也宣扬了行善戒恶的观念。我们在联系文本的创作背景和三教的教义、发展脉络的基础上,梳理《汤公》呈现的三教关系后可知:《汤公》中佛教所占比重最大,但其思想上更倾向于儒家;《汤公》对宗教的描写是为了突出其主旨——期待庇护、劝善惩恶。

Through the description of the Confucian,Buddhist and Taoist gods in rescuing Mr.Tang together,“Mr.Tang”of Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio shows Pu Songling's expectation on the protection of scholars by multiple gods,and also publicizes the concept of doing good and abstaining from evil.On the basis of combining the creation background of the text with the doctrines and development context of the three religions,we can see that Buddhism accounts for the largest proportion in“Mr.Tang”,but its ideology is more inclined to Confucianism;the description of religion in“Mr.Tang”is to highlight its main purpose-expecting asylum,persuading good and punishing evil.
