In dealing with some international affairs, the Western countries have selectively pursued double standards, and employed the self-described "substantial justice" to justify the "formal justice" that destroys international relations. This reflects the Western centrism and superiority. It is a typical cultural imperialism, whose fundamental purpose is to serve the hegemonic interests of the West. As a means of maintaining hegemony, cultural imperialism has a greater cost advantage, less risks and a more basic function than military conquest and economic control. Today’s interdependent international environment and the advantages of the West in education and media provide conditions and convenience for cultural imperialism. This kind of formal justice that disregards international relations will not only lead to the internal turmoil of the countries concerned, but also lead to the tension of international relations, and even bring the relevant Western countries into the conflict and decline.
