《老子》文本中“名”的观念

On the Concept of Ming in Lao-Tzu

道是《老子》一书最重要的观念,而《老子》说“道”,却是从“名”之“无名”说起。而“名”即符号(sign),在上古兼有名言与命令二义。“无名”便指无有符号下所含无有名言与无有命令二层意涵,自我因可凭以“无物”“自然”而“无欲”,欲望问题因而得以解决。

Tao is the most important concept in the book Lao-Tzu,in which Tao begins with Wu Ming of Ming.Ming meant sign and implied the two meanings of proverb and order in ancient times,so Wu Ming implied no proverb and no order in the case of no sign.Self can achieve desirelessness by means of no objects and nature,therefore the issue of desire can be resolved.
