Study tours based on the World Heritage have unparalleled advantages.To design study tours based on the World Heritage,it is important to predetermine principles and procedures of the curriculum and to integrate interdisciplinary learning resources.Guidance,Practice,and Evaluation(GPE)are three essential components in the curricular designs of study tour.Guidance is an essential process for students to define research targets,to inquire background information,and to determine research methods.Practice is a process,by which students conduct fieldworks and receive immediate feedbacks.And evaluation is a process that when students review and reflect the entire study tour course and present the results of their study.Conducting study tours based on the world natural heritage is crucial to cultivate students’competencies.
