In view of the illustration types and the elements of different illustrations in geological papers,this paper introduces the application techniques of CorelDRAW X6, an illustration editing software commonly used in geological papers. This paper summarizes the problems encountered in the compilation and modification of the geological structure maps, synthesis histogram and simple function graphs of geological structure maps, and gives the solutions.
