The Plague is one of masterpieces by Albert Camus,a great french writer.The thesis aims at exploring the humanitarianism and emotional resonance in face of disasters showed in The Plague.The virtues demonstrated in the novel are various,the longing for being alive,the fear of death,the complex feeling of beloved ones return as well as the sharing of weal and woe.The novel depicts in a great details a story in which the people,the individuals in the city of Oran,who are brave enough to fight in the face of disasters.That s what Camus try to explain and appeal-stick to the truth and humanitarianism though in desperate.
