Re-examining Journalism Tradition of Yan’an in Globalization Era

从全球化时代视角审视中国延安新闻传统,发现其在媒介社会史意义上开启了另一种新闻实践可能:抗战背景下的延安实践将全球化过程中西方形塑的新闻转变成为半殖民地的中国对抗作为现代性化身的日本的武器;舶来新闻学经实践改造形成的党报理论,在政治上立足于代表性,实践上立足本地实际。启蒙的双向性使得启蒙、革命、劳动生产被勾联在一块,使得中国在全球化的反法西斯斗争中形成了独特的、围绕人民解放与阶级自我启蒙的新闻文化。延安新闻传统对今天新闻理论与实践意义重大。

By examining journalism tradition of Yan’an China from the perspective of globalization era, the research of this paper finds that, in media social history, this tradition initiated another possibility of journalism practice: Yan’an’s journalism practice in the context of the War of Resistance Against Japan transformed the news shaped by the West during globalization into a weapon of semi-colonial China against Japan, the incarnation of modernity. The thought of party organ formed in transforming the imported journalism was based on political representativeness and local practice. This two-way nature of enlightenment led to its association with revolution and labor production, which made China a unique journalistic culture that revolved around people’s liberation and class self-enlightenment in global anti-fascist struggle. In this sense,Yan’an’s journalism tradition is of great significance to today’s journalism theory and practice.
