Entrepreneurial university is a new mode of running school,which emphasizes the functions of creating knowledge,transferring technology and serving the society.Based on the political background,economic background,social background and educational background of the construction of British entrepreneurial universities,this paper analyzes the main measures of the construction of British entrepreneurial universities,such as the forefront of school running philosophy,the improvement of curriculum system,the rich practical activities,the powerful policy guarantee,and the extensive social assistance.Taking this as a reference,this paper explores the important enlightenment of British entrepreneurial university construction experience to China’s practice from the following aspects:Closely following the development needs of the times,establishing scientific school running concept,developing systematic curriculum modules,building a comprehensive practice system,creating a good policy environment and striving for sustainable social resources.Finally,the research of this paper can promote the reform and development of entrepreneurial universities in China.
