Contemporary China is experiencing a full-scale outbreak of"architecture",with new theories being invented everyday like unintelligible towers of Babel.Architectural models constitute a miniature world where the trinity of"architecture",Tower of Babel,and Utopia is formed.YU Ting’s Architect Model Museum can be viewed as a timely response to such phenomenon,representing both a"Declaration of Architecture"and a metaphor for"architecture".As a collection composed of"architectural towers of Babel",i.e.models,the museum also contains a fascinating paradox.
