外来词研究不仅限于语言学领域,还蕴藉着文化史、思想史、传播史等诸多学科领域的讯息。通过对五四主流期刊外来词的探讨,可以发现五四时期思想文化界主要是受英美思想的影响而并非是法国和俄国,关于陈独秀、五四所谓激进主义的批判是不正确的。

The study of loanwords not only lies in linguistic field,but has the implication of cultural history,history of thought,history of communication,etc. Through the study of loanwords,it can be found that during the May 4 th period,the Ideological and cultural circles were mainly influenced not by France and Russia but British and American thought,the criticism on radicalism of Chen Duxiu and May 4 th is incorrect.
