摘要
科技活动周是经国务院批准,由我国政府设立的群众性科技活动。自2001年起,每年5月第3周为全国科技活动周。由科技部会同中宣部、中国科协等38个中央部门(单位)和全国各地组织实施。科技部为科技活动周组委会主任单位,中央宣传部、中国科协为副主任单位,其他有关部门为成员单位。科技活动周组委会办公室设在科技部,负责一年一度科技活动周筹备的日常工作。
